The Occupational Safety and Health Act passed the U.S. Congress in 1970 creating the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). OSHA regulations are constantly changing as workplace conditions change, but they are applied to every business workplace – office and field. Some of these regulations are enforced by state agencies with their own regulations. Since 1992, Walsh Certified Consultants, Inc., has been helping our clients comply with OSHA regulations. Walsh Certified Consultants, Inc., facilitates and helps our clients comply with various aspects of their safety programs.

Written Safety Programs

Safety Audits

Walsh Certified Consultants, Inc., has provided numerous safety audits of facilities including hotels, casinos, heavy industry, foundries, refineries, utilities, government facilities, etc.

Construction Safety

Walsh Certified Consultants, Inc., has provided the services of temporary full-time and part-time personnel to monitor safety activities, conduct training, record exposures, evaluate equipment and other construction support activities.

Accident Investigation

Walsh Certified Consultants, Inc., personnel have conducted numerous accident investigations to help assess the cause of an accident. Accident investigation is a process that must be followed rigorously to make sure evidence is not lost or tainted. Witness and victim interviews, site assessments and process evaluation are integral to the investigation. A third-party investigation can help identify issues that someone too familiar with the issues may not identify.

Slip Testing

Walsh Certified Consultants, Inc., has conducted numerous Coefficient-of-Friction tests using ASTM methods to evaluate whether floor surfaces meet guidelines such as those from OSHA and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Confined Spaces

Improper entry procedures into confined spaces have resulted in numerous and frequently concurrent deaths. Walsh Certified Consultants, Inc., has experience conducting facility evaluations for confined spaces, preparing written confined-space programs, assisting with the acquisition of entry equipment, conducting training and evaluating compliance. We have provided these services for hotels, school districts, governments and numerous industrial facilities.
